Nursery welcomes children from the term after they turn three, for 15 or 30 hours. Early Years has its own entrance and play areas, with a mud kitchen, sand and water.

A place where children feel at home
At St Felix, children feel safe, happy and free to be themselves. Our staff know every child well, celebrate what makes each one special and help them grow in confidence, with green fields, wild corners and our own woodland to explore. A woodland of our own
Every week, Reception children head into our own woodland with a trained Forest School leader. Building dens, digging and exploring in every season helps them grow in confidence, work as a team and learn to take safe, sensible risks.
Care from 7.45am to 5pm
Wraparound care runs before and after school in its own space, with familiar school staff, games, crafts and outdoor play when the weather allows.
Something for every child to discover
Recent clubs have included football, dance, multi-skills, art and DT and Earth Cubs, with violin, piano and drum lessons too. Every child gets the chance to try something new, build real skills and find what they love.
Sport, games and space to play
Children enjoy football, multi-skills and dance clubs, swimming lessons in Year 5 and a sports day where the houses compete for the trophy. Our big field means plenty of room to run about at playtime.
Learning, growing and thriving together
Infants (Years 1 and 2)
In large, bright classrooms, children build confident reading, writing and number skills, with iPads to extend their learning across the curriculum.
Juniors (Years 3 to 6)
Juniors have their own building, opened in 2010, with shared learning areas and a beautiful studio for music lessons, clubs and events.

Do we have to be Catholic?
Not at all. St Felix is a warm, inclusive school community, and we welcome families of all faiths and none who share our ethos of respect and kindness.
Are there any fees?
No. St Felix is a state-funded school, so there are no school fees. Optional wraparound care before and after school is booked and paid for separately.
How do I apply for a Reception place?
Apply through Suffolk County Council. For a September 2027 start, the closing date is 15 January 2027. Coming to an open day or a personal tour first is the best way to decide.
